Porridge is one of my favourite breakfasts. It is so versatile, and you can have fun with the toppings! Try topping your bowl of cosy oats with Greek yoghurt, kefir, roasted almonds, cacao nibs, banana, chocolate, fruit compote or frozen berries.
INGREDIENTS:
30g oats
2 cups water/almond milk
1 tbsp flaxseeds/1 tsp cacao powder/1 tsp cinnamon/1/4 mashed banana/1 date
METHOD:
1. Add oats and milk/water to a pot and bring to a boil
2. Reduce to a simmer and add anything you like, such as flaxseeds/cacao powder/cinnamon/mashed banana/dates
3. Stir and cook on medium heat for 10 mins
