French Toast

This French toast includes whole grains, accompanied by fresh fruit, ensuring a delightful and nutritious meal. I like to pair it with peanut butter or Greek yoghurt for even more protein. Good nutrition isn’t about giving up taste; it’s about making mindful, healthier decisions.

INGREDIENTS:
1 Ezekiel English muffin
1 egg
1 tbsp milk of your choice
Pinch of stevia
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Spray oil

METHOD:
1. Cut the English muffin in half
2. Whisk the egg, milk, stevia and cinnamon together
3. Soak the English muffin in the mixture for 1 minute
4. Heat a pan over medium heat and grease it with spray oil
5. Lay both halves of the muffin in the pan and cook for 2 minutes
6. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes
7. Top with berries, peanut butter or Greek yoghurt
